My friend Spot is a new social media site with a new way to do business. This new way is to not make our members private information our business. We promise security along with member privacy. We do not and will not market or sell our members data.

WHY?

The question of why? Why did we create this site, why go through the expense and the time to create yet anothe social media site, when so many others are already out there. Yes there are a lot of social sites, but they take member data, they monetize their members, so this site is an alternative. We do not do that, members can socialize knowing their information is private, will stay private. So that is our marketing pitch. We wont monetize you, your kids, your spouse, your friends.

My Friend Spot was created by a group of developers who just got sik of their data being mined, monetized, sold and marketed. We got sick and tired of being the end product that was marketed. So we decided that indeed, there was a new way to say HEY! So, we created this site, we created a new mindset, and decided we would rely on our members to use our site knowing their info was and is private.
