As an example, when posting an image or other content you will have the option to make it visibile to everyone, only friends, only yourself or even select people.
Preferences: Settings, interests, and communication preferences are controlled by you in your user profile settings.
Usage Data: Information about how you use the Platform, such as pages visited, time spent, and interactions on our site. We use this data specifically to do the following. We collect data so we can see how well our site is running. How various features are being used. If specific features are popular or not poular. Usage data helps us make sure the features on our site are thing you like. We also use anonymous data, such as how many members we have, how many posts are made per day site wide etc to help Advertisers decide if they wish to advertise with My Friend Spot.
Device and Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and access times. This allows us to ensure user security is maintained. We can use IP and device identifiers to ensure known scammers and spammers and other malicious accounts are found and dealt with for the safety of our members.

We DO NOT IN ANY WAY monitor, track or follow what you do when no on our site. We feel in fact any company that does that is invading your privacy in an egregious way.

However those sites govern how their informarmation is used and shared. When linking these accounts we never gain any access to your site information on those sites. We in fact never have the ability to access your information as they control their own security.

With other users: When you post content or interact with others, your profile and shared information may be visible according to your privacy settings to others. As an example you my join a group and make a post, and that post then would be visible to other members of that group. However you also within your own settings have the ability to block other accounts, so those accounts even if they are a member of that group, not be able to see your post.
With service providers: Trusted vendors who help operate our Platform, under strict confidentiality agreements. Such as server security companies are operate servers where our data is stored. All servers are based in the United States.
For legal reasons: To comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or to protect rights, safety, and property. As en example, if we are served with a subpoena by the court or law enforcement as they are investigating a crime. Or if someone claims a member has violated their intellectual property, we may need to share an image to either confirm that member is not in violation, or is.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. This is a very important point to make about your privacy. We do not sell, rent, lease, show or transfer your private information. We are a social media website. Our purpose is to allow you to socially interact with others, and to do so in a way that meets YOUR OWN privacy needs and expectations. Adjust privacy controls for who can see your content, you can block accounts, you also can limit who can see your posts and content.
Delete your account at any time. Please note due to the way information is stored although your account will be deleted and not seen publicly, your information way still be stored on our servers for a short period of time, and as required under Federal law.
Request to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You have control over this data, and you are able to as needed change profile information.
Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, or under law to maintain evidence in investigations or vicil actions. We do not control these time frames. As an example, if an account is under criminal investigation and we recieve a court order or subpoena, then we are required by law to not delete data associated with the account.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure. Use strong passwords and be cautious when sharing personal information is important. You should never share your log in information with anyone. You also should never use a public computer, such as in a internet cafe, or library to log into your account. Some locations have been known to act unscrupulously and track or record information they should not be tracking or having access to.
Also, when at your place of employment be aware that you are governed by their usage policies and it is possibly your computer at work may have tracking software or other code installed in it that monitor what you do, say and maybe even track your user name and or passwords. My Friend Spot does not have any ability to control this or stop what your employer does.
My Friend Spot is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or other age as required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete it. You also as a parent are encouraged to keep an eye on what your kids do online. My Friend Spot works activley to catch instances of adults who attempt to take advantage if kids.
When we determine this is being done law enforcement will be involved and we will work as needed with law enforcement to see traffickers, and those who work to harm or take advantage if children are brought to justice.
If you use our services from outside the United States, you consent to your information being transferred and processed in the United States. All servers are located in the United States and you data will be stored in the U.S. You also agree that any and all disputes are per our Terms page, namely section 10 sub-section Disputes, that all disputes are to be handled in a court or other manner in Calhoun County Michigan and or if in Federal Court, in the Western District in Michigan. By starting / opening / having / maintaining / accessing an account on My Friend Spot you agree to this.
You also agree that you will follow all your Countries laws in regards to the use of the internet, social media etc.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform or email.

If you feel you Trademark or other Intellectual Property has been violated or abused you can request that we look into the alledged violation and take such information down. To do this you must do the following, and it must be done fully. In other words, we have a Federally approved manner in which you must inform us, and request said information be taken down.
